OAs help make a memorable and inspiring experience for our Prep pupils
Erin Vukusic (Carpenter 2024), Tom Banton (Tuckwell 2017) and James Rew (King Alfred 2022) attended a Sponsor Day at Somerset County Cricket Club where they met four pupils from the Prep.
Milla, Matilda, Kai and Zac had the unique opportunity to represent the Prep School and spend time in a professional cricketing environment.
Throughout the day, Erin, Tom and James spent time with the pupils, joining them for activities and sharing their experiences. This included a lively quiz, in which our team performed brilliantly, finishing in a very impressive second place - missing out on the top spot by just half a point.
The OAs also enjoyed lunch with the pupils which gave them a relaxed chance to talk, ask questions and gain further inspiration.
Erin, Tom and James signed shirts and took photographs with the pupils helping to create lasting memories and gave them the chance to spend time one-to-one with their role models.
As OAs who have progressed into professional cricket, Erin, Tom and James reinforced the strong sporting heritage here at King’s. We hope the day motivates the pupils as they continue their own sporting journeys and aspire to follow in their footsteps.
