Last week, Mrs Godfrey and Mr Sainsbury had the privilege of attending a special reception at Buckingham Palace to mark the 70th anniversary of the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award (DofE).
It was a wonderful opportunity to reconnect with former pupils; Eugene, Cameron, Alissa, Skye, Beth, Lexie and Jessica, who were in attendance to mark their remarkable achievement in completing the prestigious Gold DofE Award.
The event was hosted by HRH Prince Edward, Duke of Edinburgh, adding to the sense of occasion for all those attending.
Each Gold Award holder is invited to celebrate their success at these exclusive events.
Their accomplishments highlight not only personal determination but also the lasting values encouraged through participation in the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award.
