Our Archivist is looking for help identifying a series of drawings which originate from the estate of the late Rory Young OA who sadly passed away in February 2023. Although renowned today for his sculpture (including the statue of Nathaniel Woodard at the front of school), Rory had originally studied fine art at Camberwell. Contemporaries may remember his sketches and paintings at school.
The drawings here were probably completed when Rory was in the 6th Form in c.1971-1972. Very few of the collection are named, multiple suggestions also have been made for several others, so if you think you can identify a sitter please email Alison Mason - archives@kings-taunton.co.uk
