Congratulations to Henry Smeed OA, who continues to make remarkable strides on the international rugby stage.
Already capped for Germany in both 15s and 7s, Henry recently made his World Series 7s debut for Germany at the Nairobi 7s, and what a debut it was. The team went on to win the tournament, giving Germany a strong lead in the three-tournament race for promotion to the HSBC 7s World Championship Series. A phenomenal achievement and an exciting moment in Henry’s rugby journey.
Henry was an exceptional sportsman throughout his time at King’s. His ability and drive took him into the Bristol Bears Academy programme, and with the support of our excellent coaching team, he demonstrated impressive resilience in his pursuit of top level performance.
Well done, Henry. What a journey, and what a future ahead!
