On the 2 January Lionel Franklin, Woodard 1956, along with his son and daughter, visited King’s. Lionel was on a trip from Canada and wanted to show his family where he went to school.
Even though the school was empty of pupils enjoying their Christmas break, the visit still brought back so many memories for Lionel which he enjoyed sharing with his son and daughter. He said it was “hard to believe that it all happened 69 - 72 years ago!”
Feel free to contact the Development Office if you would like a trip down memory lane. We are always pleased to welcome OAs back.
